I'll Be Glad When You're Dead, You Rascal You

Add to Mixx!

Another classic from Max and Dave Fleischer featuring the distinctive crooning of Louis Armstrong. This was shot in the early 1930’s, so you will see clips of a very young Satchmo conducting his orchestra... accompanied by some slightly disturbing racial stereotype animation. But New Orleans hot jazz has never sounded better. And, can somebody tell me the meaning of the Hebrew lettering that appears in the speedometer that appears on Koko’s rear end?
