You know... sometimes a good idea is all you need.
Remember in 1997 when Tom Winkler left his post at The Simpsons and created the infamous doodie.com? His scatological animated cartoons graphically depicted people defecating.
And that popular web site eventually lead to Winkler being tapped to create the opening for The Norm Show and reportedly an open door to bigger Hollywood deals.
Then, there is Justin Halpern, the young guy who lives with his septuagenarian father.
Justin created a web site and a twitter page that lead first to a book... and then a CBS television series starring William Shatner. Take a look:
Yes boys and girls, “[CENSORED] My Dad Says” is the flavor of the month... and we offer Justin our congratulations and our wishes for a long run on prime time and in syndication!
Yes... all it takes is ONE GREAT IDEA and you ascend from the hoi polloi to the hoity toity.
Ideas? We got a million of ‘em!
I’m ready for my close-up Mister DeMille...
