Yet Another Reason to Love New York

One thing about New York... you can have a favorite restaurant for a couple months... then suddenly it has gone out of business and/or been replaced by a new restaurant. But one Big Apple eatery remains a constant source of delicious victuals...

Serendipity3 has fed a countless number of people since it opened in the early 1950’s.  Not only New Yorkers but famous people like President Bill Clinton, half-term governor Sarah Palin, Andy Warhol and many others!

Granted, Serendipity3 has a wonderful assortment of items on their menu (including burgers, pastas, soups, salads and more). But it is their frozen treats that get the most attention.

One of the favorites is their frozen hot chocolate... that was so wonderful, Jacqueline Kennedy requested the recipe for the White House and was turned down!

Of course, thanks to Al Gore’s invention (the internet), you can download the recipe at Epicurious.

Finally, if you have deep pockets, you can try the $1,000 Golden Opulence Ice Cream Sundae...

If you liven in New York or are planning a visit... you can find Serendipity3 at:

225 East 60th Street
New York, NY 10022-1498
(212) 838-3531
