It ain’t the end of the world, kid...
I was in San Diego airport when I noticed a British family coming through security check. Apparently their little daughter forgot to bring a doll or something along.
With a long security line and a short boarding time, the father explained they could not go back after it.
Following were wailing and gnashing of teeth as the young girl cried inconsolably over her lost... whatever it was.
Daddy promised to buy her a new one... but she wailed that it would not be the same.
Amazing how we give permanent emotional attachment to things that are temporary.
