The Speed Bump Murder

A man named Stephen Carr did not want people speeding through his neighborhood. So, he petitioned to have a speed bump installed.

It was installed... as was a four-way stop sign and a double yellow line.  The neighborhood was safer from traffic fatalities.

Unfortunately, Carr’s neighbor David Patton was so upset, he reportedly shot and killed Carr.
