Hot Stuff

Over the holidays I joined some friends for dinner. My contribution was a duck and a side dish of Thai red curry gravy. I tried to make it a bit milder than my usual by adding some additional ingredients (caramelized onion and shiitake mushroom) but most at the table thought it was too spicy!

I wonder, then, what they would think about these concoctions from my friends down in the bayou…
